History

Orr’s Jewelers has been providing the Western Pennsylvania region with elegant jewelry and superior service for more than 50 years. The company was founded in 1952 by Bill Orr, and was originally located in Midland, Pennsylvania, a small town in the heart of the Ohio River Valley. For more than 40 years, our reputation grew far and wide as more and more customers made the long journey to Midland to do business with us.

In 1991, to better serve our customers living in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland, we relocated to a new, larger location in Beaver, PA - not far from the Pittsburgh International Airport. By 1995, we had outgrown that space and decided to move once again ­ this time to our current and permanent home in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood. Again, our business and reputation continued to grow, and by 2003, it was necessary to triple the size of our store to accommodate our amazing selection of jewelry, watches and gifts.
